Terms & Conditions

By making a booking with S21 Detailing, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to your appointment.

S21 Detailing Terms and Conditions

Bookings & Retainer Fee

  • Bookings should be made at least 24 hours in advance wherever possible.
  • Appointments are managed through our booking system, Detail Book.
  • A retainer fee may be required to secure your booking. A secure payment link will be sent upon confirmation.
  • Retainer fees are refundable if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the retainer fee being retained.
  • We will always do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings; however, availability cannot be guaranteed.

Vehicle Drop-Off & Collection

  • S21 Detailing operates primarily as a vehicle drop-off and collection service.
  • Our unit is located in Edmonton, North London (N9 8QA).
  • Customers are responsible for arranging transport to and from the unit unless otherwise agreed.
  • The unit is conveniently accessible via public transport, with Edmonton Green Station, Silver Street Station, and multiple local bus routes all within easy reach. The location also benefits from excellent road connections via the A10 Great Cambridge Road and North Circular.
  • Customers will be notified when their vehicle is ready for collection.

Consultations & Pricing

  • All prices provided are estimates based on the information available at the time of booking.
  • A consultation and vehicle inspection will be carried out before work begins.
  • The final price will be confirmed with the customer before any work is undertaken.
  • Additional charges may apply where a vehicle requires substantially more time or labour than initially anticipated.
  • This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Excessive pet hair
    • Heavy soiling
    • Mould contamination
    • Biohazards
    • Excessive staining
    • Overspray, paint transfer, or specialist contamination removal

Service Times

  • Service durations are estimates only and may vary depending on the vehicle's size, condition and any additional work required.
  • We will keep customers updated should a service take longer than anticipated.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us.
  • If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service provided, please notify us within 24 hours of collection so we have the opportunity to inspect and rectify any concerns.
  • Refunds are not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of S21 Detailing.

Vehicle Condition & Liability

  • Customers must inform us of any known defects, damage, faults or fragile areas before work begins.
  • S21 Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing damage, mechanical faults, electrical issues, paint defects, stone chips, worn trim, fragile components or previously repaired areas.
  • While every care is taken during our services, some heavily worn or delicate surfaces may be susceptible to further deterioration during cleaning or restoration processes.
  • Any concerns identified during inspection will be discussed with the customer before work proceeds.

Insurance

  • S21 Detailing maintains Public Liability Insurance for customer and business protection.
  • Details of our insurance cover can be provided upon request.

Payment

  • Payment is due upon completion of the agreed work unless otherwise arranged.
  • We accept:
    • Bank Transfer
    • Cash
    • Card Payments

Photography & Marketing

  • S21 Detailing may photograph or record vehicles before, during and after services for quality control, training and marketing purposes.
  • Registration numbers and personal information will not be shared without permission.
  • Customers may request that their vehicle is not featured in promotional content.

Privacy

  • We respect your privacy and handle all customer information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
  • Personal information will never be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law.

Right to Refuse Service

  • S21 Detailing reserves the right to refuse or discontinue work on any vehicle where conditions are deemed unsafe, hazardous, unreasonable, or beyond the scope of the agreed service.
